The Convention With Cattitude
CatCon is coming to the Pasadena Convention Center. CatCon is where pop culture and cat culture converge, along with top cat-centric merchandise as well as one of the biggest cat adoption lounges anywhere.
What to Expect
• Seminars like Men and Cats: A Love Story, and the first annual CatCon Awards.
• A special appearance by Ian Somerhalder of the Vampire Diaries.
• Access to the Furever Home Adoption Lounge, sponsored by Rachel Ray Nutrish, where you can fall in love with a new family member.
• The CatCon Awareness Pavilion devoted to cat health issues and awareness.
• Over 150 booths featuring merchandise for cats and their people.
• Meet & Greets with feline-loving (human) celebrities like Julie Newmar, “Batman’s Catwoman,” Moshow the Cat Rapper, and Kitten Lady.
• A chance to hang out with thousands of people who love cats just as much as you do.

You can also purchase Meet & Greets with your favorite celebricats like Lil BUB, Nala Cat, and Oskar the Blind Cat. Celebricat Meet & Greet tickets do not include admission to CatCon and must be purchased separately. A portion of ticket proceeds goes to cat welfare charities.

FREE OUTDOOR CONCERTS
Every summer, Levitt Pavilion Pasadenaproduces 50 concerts performed at the band shell located at Memorial Park. Concerts are always free, visitors are welcome to picnic on the lawn while enjoying the performances. Musicians of all genres are chosen for this summer concert series, both emerging talent and award-winning performers.
THURSDAYS THROUGH SUNDAYS
Concerts take place Thursday through Sunday from June 29th through September 3rd, 2017. Music begins at 7 PM on Thursdays, 8 PM on Fridays and Saturdays, and 7 PM on Sundays. The festival opens two hours before music starts.
THURSDAY CHILDREN’S NIGHTS
Thursdays are dedicated children’s night where musicians who appeal to families are scheduled to perform. The festival opens at 5 PM and music starts at 7 PM.

Museums of the Arroyo Day
Six museums in Los Angeles and Pasadena will open their doors – free of charge – from 12 to 5pm and provide shuttles to transport you to and from the various locations throughout the afternoon.
In Pasadena, the Gamble House and the Pasadena Museum of History (PMH) and the Feynes Mansion are participants. Visitors at PMH will enjoy two new exhibitions that take a look at art from different perspectives. “Art in the Street: 25 Years of the Pasadena Chalk Festival” and “The Art of Getting There: Railroad Inspired Artistry.” Also offered: Mini-tours of historic Fenyes Mansion, tours of the Finnish Folk Art Museum, and a special model train display from the ’20s, ’30s and Beyond Model Railroad. Be inspired by a chalk artist in the act of creating a mural, and beautify the campus with your own chalk masterpiece!
